Inquiries - short in nature - can be posted on this page by any viewer who may have a pottery related query.
Especially welcome are researchers, students, collectors, and family heirs.
Example:
“I know that the Strasburg, Virginia, Bell potters made the “chicken on nest” form. I have one of redware that I believe could have been a Bell make.
If anyone should own one that was made by the Bells, I would appreciate the opportunity to converse with them.”

Have you ever heard of or have any information about the "Brodway Porcelain Manufactoring Company" of Broadway, Virginia? I have a bowl with their mark on it. the building is about to be torn down and I am unable to find any historical information about it prior to 1900. Kovel's indicate that Alfred Radford may have been a potter there. Thank you, Joan
